Mr. Craig Malisow of the Houston Press would like to hear from you.

Dear Friends,

As you know I have been diligently advocating for our cause. That is to get Medicare/Medicaid to cover the medical costs for VNS Therapy Depression volunteer study subjects or for Cyberonics to honor their publicly stated contract for “Lifetime Reimbursement Guarantee for All TRD IDE Study Patients”.

There is an investigative reporter who has penned previous articles about Cyberonics who is interested in our unique story. The gentleman’s name is Craig Malisow of the Houston Press.

At the same time I am asking the medical professionals and all others who have knowledge of these patients to share this information with them.

Mr. Malisow would like to hear from any and all of the VNS Therapy Depression Patients and the challenges we are facing without medical insurance coverage for replacement, ex-plantation and/or care. Please contact him at:

I cannot over emphasize the importance of advocating for one’s own wellness and not standing by in silence.

Sincerely,
Herb

About vnstherapy

I'm a very, very long-time support person and health care and mental health advocate/activist for my spouse Joyce as well as to others. I'm also a retired business executive and former Board Member, President and facilitator of a local chapter of DBSA as well as a Florida State appointment as a Guardian Advocate. I do not endorse, promote or advertise for any therapy, product or company. I do share our personal experiences, my research and knowledge in the hope it might benefit someone or do I give advice as to what one should or shouldn't do. I extend my best wishes for wellness to one and all and all the good you’d wish for yourselves.
